Old Building of the City Library “Hivzi Sylejmani”

City Library The old building of the “Hivzi Sylejmani” City Library was built in the 1930s. For decades, this building served as a center of culture and education in Prishtina, being an important place for readers, students, and researchers. Despite the lack of space and modern infrastructure, the old building had a unique atmosphere and significant historical importance for the city and community.

In 2016, due to the increased need for larger spaces and better conditions, the library was relocated to a new building in the Dardania neighborhood. The old building remains a part of the city's cultural heritage, representing an important period in the cultural history of Prishtina.
