The Great Hammam
Built in the 15th century during the Ottoman Empire’s rule, the Grand Hamam of Prishtina is one of the oldest examples of Ottoman architecture in the city. The hamam, a public bath, was a place where city residents would go to bathe and relax.
At the same time, it served as a social center where people met and had conversations. Although it no longer functions as a hammam today, its building preserves the original architecture and is a protected monument.
